3G CDMA再见！美国运营商关闭 中国电信也快关闭了

其实两年前，美国最大电信运营商Verizon就已正式宣布了其3G网络的关闭时间。Verizon网络工程副总裁Mike Haberman表示：“我们将会在2022年12月31日关闭最后一张3G CDMA网络，这比我们的竞争对手完全关闭网络晚了几个月”。
他也表示这个新的日期不会再延长，他表示：“公司再次传达这个消息，是为了给客户提供充足的时间来完成迁移”。
Verizon 早在2016年就首次宣布关闭3G网络的计划，目标是在2019年关闭该服务。它在2018年重申了这一计划，宣布不再激活只能连接3G网络的手机。
目前的情况是，中国联通、移动和电信乃至全球不少运营商都在放弃2G、3G网络。
