近日，Meta 正式在德国推出 Quest 2 和 Quest Pro VR 头显，通过官方商店和亚马逊等第三方零售平台销售。Quest 2 售价 449 欧元起，Quest Pro 售价 1799.99 欧元。
虽然 Meta 从未被正式禁止在德国销售硬件，但在宣布需要 Facebook 帐户才能使用它们后，其在 Quest 2 发布之前自愿暂停了 VR 头显的销售。Heise Online 报道称，此举导致德国联邦卡特尔办公室 （FCO） 启动滥用诉讼，这可能是 Meta 决定的触发因素。
大约两年后的 8 月，Meta 推出了新的 Meta 帐户系统，取消了对其全球 VR 头显的 Facebook 帐户要求。德国 FCO 主席表示：“Meta 回应了我们的担忧，并通过创建一个单独的 Meta 帐户来使用 Quest 头显来提供解决方案。”
Meta 表示：“我们新 Meta 帐户结构为您提供了更大的灵活性和控制力，让您可以选择如何显示和不显示，以及您是否想要在 VR 或其他 Meta Horizon 个人资料页面展示 Facebook 和/或 Instagram 。”
