CEO Pavel Durov shared that the subscription “represents just a fraction of Telegram’s overall revenue,” optimistically believing that one day, Premium will bring in revenue equal to that of advertisements.
The app introduced Premium in late June, giving users access to a number of extra features like speedier downloads and the capacity to share files up to 4 GB in size.
