微软正考虑为Surface Hub 2推出首个商用计算仓，配11代处理器
IT之家 12 月 7 日消息，援引国外科技媒体 Windows Central 报道，微软正计划为 Surface Hub 2 开发新的“心脏”--计算模块。该模块内部代号为“Upward”，将会采用英特尔第 11 代处理器，这也是 Surface Hub 2 上市以来首个商业化的升级模块。
知情人士透露微软正计划在 2023 年为 Surface Hub 2 推出新的计算仓（compute cartridge），内部代号为“Upward”，将采用升级的英特尔第 11 代 CPU 和 Iris Xe 图形。而目前 Surface Hub 2S 计算仓配备的是英特尔第八代 CPU。
目前关于这款计算仓的其它信息并不是很多，不过消费者关注比较多的一个点就是是否支持设备旋转。毕竟自 Surface Hub 2 于 2018 年发布以来，这项承诺的功能始终没有兑现。而代号“Upward”（向上）可能暗示着这种改变。
IT之家了解到，Surface Hub 2 采用模块化设计，而“Upward”是该设备的首个商用升级计算仓。微软此前大肆宣传客户将能够更换 Surface Hub 2 的 PC 部分进行维修和升级，但实际上至今没有推出更新的计算盒来进行升级。
