Organize important project information in a timeline viewHey PH Fam!

Today we are launching Thymeline! A product that we have been working hard on for the past few months. We are incredibly excited for you to get your hands on it.

It's one of those apps you didn't know you need until you use it. That's why we have a FREE plan.

⚡️Who is the app for? • Project Managers • Agency owners • Product builders • Indie Hackers • Solopreneurs • and anyone else that needs to stay organized.

Alright, let's get into the nitty gritty...

📍 What does it do?

→ Short answer: it keeps you organized.

→ Long answer: it's a one-of-kind app in the sense that it's built to keep important project events in a single place.

Most of us here are scattered across different tools for Project Management, CRM, Payments, Support Tickets, Emails, etc. Conversations and important information is all over the place. It makes it tough to see all the "important" pieces of those projects in one place.

🔸 Here is an example:

Let's say you're working with a client on a project and have deadlines, payments, and project changes. Some of that stuff may be happening inside your internal project management tool, in an email with the client, or potentially in a support ticket. It's a mess.

If you use the Thymeline Chrome Extension, in 2-clicks you can save the exact URL + any text you highlight gets added to the event. Now that gets added in chronological order in your Thymeline and when you need to find that info, you know where to go.

❗️One important use-case → Onboarding new team members on existing projects:

Let's say halfway through a project, you need to bring someone else on board to manage the project or help out. How do you familiarize them with everything that's happened so far? It's a pain in the a**. You send them to the long list of tasks, the email chain, and a bunch of support tickets, and they come out with a bunch of questions and are just as confused. It's not efficient.

🔸 You can make that process a lot more efficient with Thymeline:

Share a link to a specific Thymeline with your team member, they see everything in chronological order, and each event has a relevant link that takes them to the right app with the information that they need to know.

💡 Where did the idea come from?

Z here 👋🏼 I run 2 different agencies, one service agency and one product studio. At my service agency, even though we have our processes in place and we are quite organized, there are still some fragmented pieces that we deal with.

→ We've missed some client requests. → We had communication breakdowns. → We lost important info about a project.

We need a place to centralize the important information to give the team a birds-eye view into any project at any given time. And if anyone needed to get back to a specific Asana task, or a Zendesk support ticket without having to search each tool independently, Thymeline was the place to find it.

It's only right that we give the Product Hunt community a special price on our product → 20% OFF (LIFETIME) if you sign up for any of our paid plans and use promo code: PRODUCTHUNT20. This promo will expire on December 9, 2022.

This is the V1 of our app - so we welcome any and all feedback. We look forward to hearing from you.

Always made with ❤️.

Cheers!
