台积电宣布美国亚利桑那州晶圆厂扩建计划，完工后晶圆年产能超60万片
据台湾“中时新闻网”报道，台积电于美国当地时间12月6日宣布，其亚利桑那州晶圆厂开始兴建第二期工程，预计于2026年开始生产3纳米制程技术，该厂目前兴建中的第一期工程预计于2024年开始生产4纳米（N4）制程技术，两期工程总投资金额约为400亿美元。
除了一万多名协助兴建厂房的营建人员之外，台积电亚利桑那州晶圆厂两期工程预计将额外创造一万个高薪高科技工作机会，其中包括4500个直接受雇于台积电的工作。两期工程完工后将合计年产超过60万片晶圆，终端产品市场价值预估超过400亿美元。
