2006年11月30日，微软在北京正式发布Windows Vista，不知不觉已经整整16年了。
Vista曾经被微软寄予厚望，但却成了Windows历史上最具争议性的一代，一方面是它的先进设计理念，另一方面是各种糟糕的体验。
Vista带来了漂亮的Areo Glass毛玻璃特效界面，让人眼前一亮，还有全新NT 6.0内核、NAP网络安全保护、UAC用户账户控制、超级预取、媒体中心、桌面小工具等系统功能，堪称一次飞跃。
但是，超出正常水平的硬件需求、糟糕的硬件兼容性、混乱的SKU版本划分、激进的安全策略等等，得到了用户、媒体的一致讨伐。
