Indian govt is set to regulate digital media
Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, said the government is drafting legislation to control digital media. He said the majority of the print, electronic, and digital media are self-regulated.
“Digital media presents opportunities as well as challenges. To have a fine balance, the government will see what can be done on this,” Thakur added.
