11月15日消息，今日，有数码博主称“坚果手机还有下一代新机”，同时他还晒出了疑似来自坚果客服的对话截图，该客服称，
字节跳动会自己开发手机项目，牌照是之前锤子的，
耐心等待即可。
该消息引起不少“锤粉”的关注，有网友表示：“这牛了啊，下一代肯定支持”。
不过，坚果手机官方很快对消息辟谣称：“抱歉，
上述客服回复信息不准确，目前没有相关计划。
感谢您对坚果手机的关注与支持。”
资料显示，2021年1月，字节跳动宣布原坚果手机团队组建的新石实验室并入教育硬件团队，合并后的硬件团队将聚焦教育领域，不再研发坚果手机、TNT等产品。
