Development [ROM] [12.1.0] [alioth/aliothin] ArrowOS 12.1 [OFFICIAL]

All data is preserved if previous installed ROM is ArrowOS (same version) or compatible. I only tried with ArrowOS 12.

Man, this ROM was rock stable for me on Android 11. But ever since I upgraded to 12 it behaves weird and now on 12.1 apps sometimes don't launch straight away, but instead go to a black screen.

Does anyone have a similar experience?
I didn't know that the latest updater won't work, but it's not that hard to update manually:
  • turn on USB debugging in developer mode
  • enable device modification from PC
  • adb recovery reboot
  • select Apply Update/Apply from ADB
  • adb sideload Arrow-v12.1-alioth-OFFICIAL-*.zip
  • when it's done, reboot to system

Just wanted to point out that step 3 should be:
adb reboot recovery

Hi, I manually checked for updates today but it showed "Bad gateway, could not connect to server". Is this a problem with the server or the OS? Thanks.

I don't have this problem.
Did you install the recommended firmware?
Also if you came from a different ROM it's always best to do a clean wipe/install.

not sure if this is a bug? while i am in landscape mode i swipe up to access multitask window then it will stuck, can't even swipe and i need to lock & unlock the phone only will be able to access the multitask windows on potrait mode.
