GeForce RTX 4080将会在11月16日开售，此前网络上就出现了英伟达GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition的PCB照片，这也是AD103 GPU实物照的首次曝光。其采用了与GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition相似的设计，相同的尺寸和散热器安装孔布局，不过缺少了许多组件，空焊的位置有可能留给未来的GeForce RTX 4080 Ti使用。
近日VideoCardz则放出了GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition的完整PCB照片，之前曝光照片中遮挡的部分也显露了出来，将整个PCB设计完整呈现在人们眼前。
与GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition相比，显存部分是最大的变化之一，GeForce RTX 4080拥有16GB的GDDR6X，显存位宽为256位，因此每个显存模块的容量为2GB，总共有8颗显存芯片。有点奇怪的是，显存的速率为22.4 Gbps，比起Ada Lovelace架构GPU发布时报道的23 Gbps略低，不过已经是GeForce RTX 40系列里的最高速度。
GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Founders Edition也会有国行版，价格为9499元，有兴趣的玩家可以在开售的时候去抢一下。
