The much-awaited Xiaomi 12T series of smartphones’ launch date in the Philippines has been officially confirmed. To recap, Xiaomi confirmed the 12T series is headed to the Philippines earlier this year.

The Xiaomi 12T lineup has been floating around the rumor mill for quite some time now. Also, the 12T series has been subject to a lot of leaks.

For instance, a leaked teaser poster recently revealed the Xiaomi 12T series’ launch date. For those unaware, the 12T series comprises the base Xiaomi 12T and the 12T Pro smartphones.

The global version of the 12T Pro has already passed through the Geekbench benchmarking website. The 12T series flagship phones made their debut in the global market on October 4.

Moreover, the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro are currently available in Europe, the UK, and China. Now, the 12T series phones are coming to more markets including the Philippines.

The Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro smartphones’ launch in the Philippines will take place on November 17. The launch event will take place just a couple of days after Xiaomi opens its biggest flagship store at SM City North EDSA City Center, according to a report by Revu.

The two smartphones have the tagline “make moments mega.” Furthermore, these handsets target mobile-photography enthusiasts looking for a pro-grade experience.

The 12T Pro houses a mammoth 200MP Samsung Isocell HP1 rear-mounted sensor. This main camera supports useful features such as Ultra Burst and Xiaomi ProCut.

Moreover, the main sensor support 8K video recording in full resolution. The standard Xiaomi 12T model has a triple rear camera setup featuring a 108MP main shooter. Upfront, both phones have a 20MP selfie camera.

The more premium model comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 5G chip under the hood. Also, it has speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. The Xiaomi 12T, on the other hand, packs a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra 5G SoC.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra 5G chip integrates a newfangled GPU structure to deliver 30 improved performance and better power efficiency. The 12T Pro retails for €749 (about P44,399 or $776) in Europe. The base model carries a price tag of €599 (about P35,508 or $621).
