Disney revealed plans to introduce an ad-supported tier for its Disney+ service, and today we learned it is coming on December 8. Starting next month, users in the United States have to pay $8 per month for the basic tier, while the one without ads is getting a price hike to $11.

Here’s the full list of the new prices:

Tier New Price
Disney+ Basic (with ads) $7.99
Disney+ Premium (no ads) $10.99
Bundle Duo Basic (new customers only): Disney+ & Hulu (with ads) $9.99
Bundle Trio Basic - Disney+ & Hulu & ESPN+ (with ads) $12.99
Bundle Trio Premium - Disney+ & Hulu & ESPN+ (no ads) $19.99
Legacy Disney Bundle (existing customers only) - Disney+ (no ads) & Hulu (with ads) & ESPN+ $14.99

All prices are per month, although users can pay for a 12-month subscription for Disney Basic and Disney Premium. It would cost $80 and $110, respectively, meaning the last two months of the period are effectively free.

It should be mentioned that ESPN+ has no ads for the on-demand content, but the live games still have ads during the designated breaks. Meanwhile, Hulu, another streaming platform owned by Disney Company, is increasing prices for the Live TV subscription also on December 8, just two months after it updated prices for the on-demand service.
