BTP Principal Propagation to S/4 ABAP environment - Handling the principal in backend code

Hi All.

I have a special requirement that is quite special and would like to know if someone have an idea on how to solve.

The scenario is this:

  • We want to access a SAPUI5 app via the Launchpad Service in SAP BTP.
  • Users are authenticated via IAS proxy to Azure AD.
  • We want to setup Principal Propagation to the backend (via SAP Cloud Connector).
  • We will use Digital Access, so multiple BTP user principals will be mapped to the same SAP user.
  • When the code is executed in SAP, we want to be able to distinguish which BTP Principal was actually used to authenticate.

How can this be achieved ?
