Valorant Mobile: You may need this iPhone model to play the game

Riot Games announced the mobile port of Valorant last year. We have seen a lot of Android development of the game, however; we got no update for the iOS version. Thanks to a new leak, we can now hope that the developer is focusing on the iOS version. The leak comes from an Instagram account showing the game’s code. It also shows which Apple products are being tested for the game, which also gives us an idea of the requirement of the game. Let’s check out the complete leak below.

According to the leaked game’s source, Valorant Mobile is being tested on iPhones ranging from the ancient iPhone 5s to the latest models. It is quite unbelievable that Riot Games is testing out a AAA game on an old smartphone. Even Call Of Duty Mobile and other games do not support this device. Hence, I am quite skeptical of Valorant Mobile is compatible with the iPhone 5S. Apart from the phones, iPads are also being tested for the game.

We are not far away from the launch of Valorant Mobile. Initially, we were guessing at a launch near late 2022. However, it seems like the game may be launched next year. With things moving fast, and now that the iOS version is also in the works, I am hopeful for a Q1 2023 release.

For those unaware, Valorant is a first-person shooter gamer that has different agents, each having its own unique ability. The concept behind the game is quite simple, but the addition of different agents makes it fun. Hopefully, Riot Games ends up with a polished Valorant experience on mobile, as it will be having a lot of competition from the likes of WarZone Mobile, and Rainbow Six Mobile.
