在2019年之前，苹果公司的头号设计大脑是Jony Ive（艾维）。然而，Ive离职创业后，和苹果公司开始渐行渐远。
事实上，Ive走后，苹果设计团队的负责人改为了Evans Hankey， 她的头衔一度是苹果工业设计副总裁兼设计团队一把手，主要操刀硬件。设计团队，软件体系的一把手是Alan Dye。
然而，这么一位杰出的女性，决定离开公司。在辞别信件中，Hankey透露，她还会在公司过渡6个月的时间，以完成交接。
苹果方面回应称，公司设计团队中汇集了来自世界各地、跨学科的专家人才。Evans是拥有数十年经验的优秀领导者，感谢她的奉献。不过，苹果尚未公布继任者。
