CCI imposes monetary penalty of ₹ 1337.76 crore on Google
The Commission has examined various practices of Google w.r.t. licensing of this Android mobile operating system and various proprietary mobile applications of Google.
CCI has asked Google to not restrict un-installing of its pre-installed apps by the users and to also allow the users to modify search engine. Google has 30 days to respond to this.
