10月19日晚，财联社消息称，中国成功运行世界收割电磁撬设施，它可以将1吨重及以上的物体加速到1000公里/小时的速度。
据介绍，日前阶段性建成的世界首个电磁推进地面超高速试验设施——“电磁橇”设施在济南成功运行，
对于吨级及以上物体最高推进速度可达每小时1030公里，创造了大质量超高速电磁推进技术的世界最高速度纪录。
今年初有报道称，中科院科创城先进电磁驱动技术及装备项目为2021年山东省重大项目，总投资33亿元，致力于打造国家先进电磁驱动技术创新基地。
最高运行速度1000公里/小时超高速磁悬浮试验系统(电磁橇)， 是世界首个电磁驱动地面超高速科学研究与实验设施，拥有高速大推力直线电机、百兆瓦级宽频变频供电等五大关键核心技术。
