10月12日，吃鸡手游《最终幻想7 THE FIRST SOLDIER》，宣布将于2023年1月11日16:00停服。
官方写道“十分感谢玩家一直支持《最终幻想7 THE FIRST SOLDIER》，游戏将于2023年1月11日(星期三)16:00停止服务，对于玩家们，运营团队全体成员致以深深的歉意，自2021年11月17日(星期三)开始提供服务以来，我们每天都为提供更好的服务而竭尽全力，但我们最后得出的结论，今后很难提供令客户满意的服务，因此我们决定将停止本作的服务，在此对玩家们一直以来的惠顾深表谢意的同时，也对停服决定表示由衷的歉意。”
值得一提的是，服务结束后， 关于“未使用的游戏内货币(有偿发行的神罗代币)”，根据有关资金结算的法律条款进行返还。 关于退还的详细内容，将在日后游戏内和官方网站上介绍。
本作于2021年11月上线，实际运营时间不到一年。
