9月29日，中国民航局向中国商飞颁发C919飞机型号合格证，标志着C919具备了进入市场运营的安全资质，也标志着我国具备自主研制世界一流大型客机能力，预计年内向东航交付第一架。
目前，C919已有28家客户，累计订单815架。 中国商飞正在为交付用户和支持运行做积极准备。
据民航局航空器适航审定司司长杨桢梅介绍， 通常情况下，民用飞机从适航取证到进入商业载客运行，还需要完成飞机交付用户和运行准备等工作，从经验来看，不同的机型所经历的时间也有所不同。
航空公司在接收飞机后，还需要按民用航空规章要求，完成运行合格审定，才能投入商业载客运行。
