I installed it recently but didn't face this issue!
Try flashing firmware and then clean flash
When swipe up for recent apps sometimes it doesn't work and it lags , this issue not fixed from starting, i think its pixel launcher please fix it

Hey, I just wanted to pop in and thank the dev for some great work. The most recent update is the smoothest ROM I've had running on this phone. No issues! Thank you!
managed to fixed my reboot issue. factory reset didnt work so i thought maybe its a baseband problem. i installed latest stock rom and flashed pixelrecovery/pixelexpirience afterwards. problem solved.

It is a modification app for the Rom, you can editing the home screen and hide apps

Is there anything else I need to do or is the solution simply installing this rooted solution?
My specific issue is the recents button sometimes doesn't do anything, and I try clicking it a few times. Then after about 20-30 seconds it finally registers all the button clicks and start swapping frantically between apps however many times I clicked it 20-30 seconds prior.

I think not you can change the problem with this application, I use also the lineage rom
