LibreOffice在Mac App Store发布收费版 – 开源派
The Document Foundation 基金会在官网博客中宣布，与Collabora公司合作在Mac App Store发布 LibreOffice收费版本。从Mac App Store下载 LibreOffice将收取 8.99 欧元的费用。这部分费用将持续投入到LibreOffice的开源项目开发中。
LibreOffice市场部发言人Italo Vignoli表示，感激多年Collabora公司在Mac App Store对LibreOffice的支持。收费的目的也是为了更好的满足和支持个人与企业用户尤其是那些苹果商店销售渠道的用户。
不过MacOS 用户仍然可以从The Document Foundation （简称TDF）基金会的网站下载免费版本。由于苹果应用商店禁止依赖，因此LibreOffice苹果商店版本不包含 Java。而官网的免费版是支持 Java的。
