Love the product from day 1 (since 0.10 I think !)

It helped us build https://thumbup.tech focusing most of our effort on the front and (almost) letting appwrite do the heavy work backend side.

We loved especially how functions work. It's basically where you can put all your backend logic in. So far we haven't been limited in using functions.

Kudos to the Appwrite community on github which is super responsive, kind & helpful !

Kudos to @eldad_fux for starting this project !

@eldad_fux @elsuperseby Thats some amazing feedback! Functions have been a major enabler for developers to run any kind of custom code! 🤩
@eldad_fux @elsuperseby I am flabbergasted to see your project! 🤯 Amazing work!!! 🎉
@eldad_fux @elsuperseby Wow your product looks amazing. And so proud that Appwrite helped build it. Thank you for using Appwrite and helping Appwrite become better.

@eldad_fux @meldiron Flabbergasted nothing less? :) Thank you! We just developped what think was missing in tech recruitment : a simple way to receive & apply to job then talk directly to a recruiter without hassles.

Upvotes always welcome ! https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

And again, would not have been about to launch the product without Appwrite !

@marjan_arsic4 Glad you like the project. Have you got a chance to test Appwrite for any of your projects? We'd love to hear what you think 🤩
@eldad @marjan_arsic4 Thank you so much, wouldn't be possible without the amazing help from everyone in the open-source community!

Hi there, it’s Eldad from the Appwrite team 👋

App development is complex and repetitive. Creating modern applications requires a ton of different skills and has a huge learning curve. I started working on Appwrite in 2019 to abstract the complexity of software development so I can focus on creating value, and more importantly, have fun writing code.

As someone who started their software engineering journey in the open-source community, I always wanted to find a way to contribute back to the community. This encouraged me to publish Appwrite on GitHub later that year.

To my amazement, the project immediately started trending on GitHub, and a community formed around it. Three years later, thanks to the help of a growing community of +200k members, we’re officially announcing Appwrite. I couldn’t have done it alone.

Appwrite is a secure backend server that provides the core APIs required to build modern applications. Appwrite provides authentication, database, storage, functions, and advanced real-time capabilities.

Appwrite is built to meet developers where they are. Appwrite supports 24 runtimes and 11 different programming languages with 12 different SDKs. Developers and teams can stick with the tech stack they are already comfortable with. Appwrite also has support for a variety of adapters for authentication, storage, databases, messaging, and logging.

Appwrite is designed to be easy to start and quick to grow. Developer experience is at the heart of what we do. From the way, we designed our docs, through our SDKs and integrations, the consistency of our APIs, and the intense discussions we hold with our community about naming conventions. The developer’s journey is always at the top of our minds.

You can self-host Appwrite with a single command anywhere and have full control over your data and your user’s privacy.

This is just the beginning for Appwrite. We believe Appwrite has tremendous potential to make developers' lives easier in even more ways. Here’s a sneak peek at some features we’re currently working towards: MongoDB and PostgreSQL adaptors, GraphQL support, more flexible queries and relations, geolocation data and querying, push notifications, and offline sync.

We’re excited to hear about your feedback and see you in the Appwrite community!

You can learn more about what Appwrite can do for you here: https://appwrite.io/ https://github.com/appwrite/appw...

Appwrite is the collective creation of every community member. It doesn’t matter if you’ve submitted a pull request, shared your frustration or love, or recommended Appwrite to your peers, you all helped us reach this major milestone. We are all making Appwrite better - together.

Unfortunately, we could not add everyone as Makers on Product Hunt, so we created this special page as a gesture of our appreciation: https://appwrite.io/thankyou.txt

You are also welcome to claim your special Appwrite Maker card: https://makers.appwrite.io/

Why I am not listed as a Maker, I filled the form?

@mrkrishnaagarwal Unfortunately, we could not add everyone as Makers on Product Hunt, so we created this special page as a gesture of our appreciation: https://appwrite.io/thankyou.txt you can find your name on the list!

You are also welcome to claim your special Appwrite Maker card: https://makers.appwrite.io/

@mrkrishnaagarwal Hey Krishna thank you so much for being an active supporter of the Appwrite project. We are super grateful.

We received over 800 submissions for makers and ran into some ProductHunt limitations when trying to add all of them. However, we've created a page on Appwrite that will forever list the makes of Appwrite! You can check it out here https://appwrite.io/thankyou.txt

@mrkrishnaagarwal glad you like it :) I already added mine to my GitHub readme 😎
