I actually just started flashing this phone about 4 months ago - I got it through my provider (for a super deal) 2.5yrs ago and they wouldn't allow it to be unlocked until it was paid off (been on hiatus as well for a few years because of it), which was a few months ago, so I missed out on any of the A11 flashing stuff. So, I'm out of the loop on that, though it seems like I may have missed some of the bumpy road which is good. But years ago on my previous phones, TWRP was indeed invaluable. It seems some has changed indeed, with some disappointments (TWRP not as stable as it used to be - maybe it's just this phone?).

But yeah, the fact TWRP says it can't decrypt but you're force flashing anyway it is most likely the culprit. That's so strange it will decrypt for some (sometimes) but not for some (sometimes). And why this ROM only works with TWRP (so it forces you to try to get it to work if you want to try this ROM) and not the standard recovery I'll never understand.

Really wish the dev would chime in on his TWRP, he never does though. Not even on telegram (where he is "slightly" more active than here). I was on the pixelplus channel, having the same discussions about TWRP not working right with someone else to which they acted like they were being paid to promote it regardless if it worked or not and basically called me an idiot then banned me from the channel. But - the actual dev of it (master aka @mhmdeveloper) never responded to help pinpoint what was being done wrong or maybe why it wasn't working (even know he was tagged multiple times) - so I tell everyone to basically stay away from it, it's not worth the headache/hassle. The dev is basically non-existent which is unfortunate. I don't even see a topic for his TWRP - makes no sense. Then we clutter non-related topics (like here) about it (because the problem you're having has nothing to do with the ROM, it's all about the recovery itself)...

Anyway, I'll have to check out that other TWRP you mention, see what is going on with that - maybe it's more stable/works every time. That'd be really nice.

But yeah, sticking with A12 builds for now makes sense. Honestly, this ROM is really great but it's basically just a polished A12 and you're not really missing all that much - A12 is still a great android version (and there are plenty of great ROMs based on it). There will be more A13 ROMs coming out in the near future I'm sure which will have better support and no need for TWRP. Then you'll be able to jump onto the A13 train

I explained to you that before latest update of PPUI, EvoX and Project Elixir twrp worked normally and I used it always to falsh only this rom, others not supported. Only latest build give issues so stop to give false information and putting sh*t on Dev that made all for free, saying promote twrp for money is only in your mind. Flash rom using boot IMG work so use that method and stay away from twrp.
