虽然Steam的PC客户端在近几年已经经历了数次更新，在UI设计的合理性与易用性上都有了明显提升， 但是在移动端，Steam的App却始终处在一种堪称“古董级”的状态，易用性与美观性都难言出色。
今天，根据知名爆料人Pavel Djundik的消息，Valve终于打算翻新这款严重落后于时代的App，并已经在测试新版本。

这款新的App将采用全新的UI设计，并为用户带来了新的登陆方法：通过扫描二维码的方式登陆Steam客户端。
此外，Steam官方目前已经建立了这款新App的Steam社区，该社区目前只有两名用户，且仅限被邀请的用户加入，不出意外，这一社区后续将用来接收用户的反馈信息。
目前，Steam官方尚未正式公布这款新的App， 但从现在的进度来看，或许不需要太久，我们就能够看到它开放Beta版本测试。
