- The Centre is now gearing up to launch the long-awaited Rs 8,000 crore Quantum Mission, said Professor Ajay Kumar Sood, principal scientific adviser to the government.
- The mission will look at building expertise in the quantum frontiers which will be essential for national security, and the development of quantum computers, quantum chemistry, as well as quantum cryptography.
