作为曾经连续数年在索尼展台公布预告，甚至专门推出限定版主机的大作，小岛工作室的《死亡搁浅》却在发售不久就宣布登陆PC平台。
今天，
《死亡搁浅》的PC版发行商505 games与小岛工作室联合宣布，该作即将登陆微软的PC Game Pass服务。
《死亡搁浅》作为小岛秀夫从科乐美独立后的第一款游戏， 在世界观设定，氛围营造等方面充满了他的个人风格 ，对于此前喜欢《合金装备》系列氛围营造的玩家来说，是一款不可多得的佳作。
而PGP（PC Game Pass）则是微软Xbox Game Pass的衍生服务， 订阅该服务后，玩家能够在Win10以上系统的电脑中，通过Xbox应用游玩Game Pass库中的四百多款游戏。
