Intel：明年60核CPU可能改变游戏规则
芯研所8月18日消息，在Intel的处理器中，桌面及移动端的酷睿处理器已经恢复了竞争力。但在服务器级的至强处理器，Sapphire Rapids一直未上市。Sapphire Rapids是Intel第四代可扩展至强处理器，它将采用Intel 7制造工艺，12代酷睿同款的Golden Cove CPU架构，但没有小核心，最多60个完整核心，可选搭配HBM高带宽内存，支持DDR5、PCIe 5.0。
Sapphire Rapids的延期惹出了麻烦，但是它在技术上的升级也非常有看点，不仅是核心提升到60核，而是针对当前热门的AI打造了全新的架构，这是Intel非常看重的一点，要跟AMD及NVIDIA竞争AI市场。Intel副总裁兼人工智能与分析总经理Wei Li日前在采访中表示，它相当于一个集成了GPU的CPU，在GPU内拥有所有的（AI）加速功能，这是改变游戏规则的设计。
按照Intel的最新计划，Sapphire Rapids应该会在明年2月到3月份出货，不过那时候AMD的Zen4架构霄龙处理器恐怕也要上市了，提升到了96核128线程，Intel的竞争压力可不低。
