当地时间8月11日，可再生能源公司Windlab和苹果公司达成一项电力购买协议。苹果公司将从Windlab位于澳大利亚昆士兰州的Upper Burdekin风电场购买清洁电力，这项为期15年的协议。
Upper Burdekin风电场目前正在寻求开发批准，预计两年内动工，2026年送电入电网。
