据 TechCrunch 报道，医疗元宇宙初创公司 FundamentalVR 完成 2000 万美元融资，EQT Life Sciences 领投，Downing Ventures 参投，所筹资金将用于通过虚拟现实（VR）和混合现实（MR）加速技能转移和手术熟练程度。
据悉，FundamentalVR 的沉浸式模拟平台结合 VR 和 MR 应用程序，帮助医生在虚拟环境内训练手术，该公司已开发专属硬件引擎和接口支持 Oculus Quest、HTC Vive 等 VR 头显，以及 Holo Lens 和 Magic Leap 等 MR 平台。
