联通没有开通 5G 套餐不能访问 5G 网络？

坐标广东佛山，运营商是中国联通，手机是红米 K30 5G 。
没有开通 5G 套餐。以前试过，手机网络设置了 NR ，就能使用 5G 。为了省点电，手机网络设置了 LTE/WCDMA ，即没有开启 5G 。
最近发现手机网络即使开启了 5G ，也不能访问。如果设置只使用 NR 的话，手机网络的图标显示小叉叉。其实也没什么，毕竟没有开 5G 套餐。但是前几天经过隔壁的江门市，可以使用 5G 网络。
3G 升 4G 那时，联通是自动开启 4G ，不知道这次 5G 为什么这么搞。
