Other companies switch to this, lower prices. GW switches to this, raises prices.
I saw that Creature Caster had announced they're changing technology, with one feature being that it's more environmentally friendly, but I forgot to click on it for details. Anyway, this does look and sound quite cool. Exciting times for the hobby. 😃

Really interesting video and great to see this sort of process in action.

I'd be interested to know if this is the tech that warlord uses, I think it is different? I say this as the warlord resin is a bit of a pain to clean up mould lines and flash as it's quite rubbery.

Interesting video, can't wait to see the Infinity models produced with this casting method. By the way did anyone catch the name of the manufacturer of that big dragon?

Thanks for asking about the mold size that's what I thought was interesting. It may be a very real limiting factor for the 28/32mm model ranges.

Also the mold life times are important but it the turn around times from masters to production is low enough and still in house it's not as bad.

Hi GW

dam thats nice i wonder how much a machine like that costs for a startup
Anything that will hurt GW is good to me. This winter I will invest in a good 3D resin printer and go full 3D PNP skirmish.
what glue do you use to assemble such a mini if it is multipart ? superglue or classic plastic glue ?
Anyone that knows manufacturing processes can explain what is the breakthrough here? Low temperature injection molding? Or just the machine being so "small" compared to regular injection-molding machines?
This is outstanding. So we are looking at a what a 20k set up or more?
300-500 castings per mold seems a bit low to me, but i dont know a lot about silicon mold life. If you cast one mold every 30 seconds thats just 3-4 hours of operation.
Eco-friendly seems like a selling point without much substance. Advertize the cost savings on manufacturing, shipping to you, and wasted material. That matters far more, being eco-friendly is a side effect.
