Oh, I would like to know if there is any limit on launches?

Oh, if only I knew the answer! I hope one launch is enough :)

@stas_voronov And I think that we will successfully launch two and develop them in parallel.

The startup I work for they launched their first product on Producthunt recently this month. And it was quite a good learning experience for us. We aimed for being the top product of the day but we ended up being 4th and still it was an amazing experience.

For now, I guess we won't be launching any more products this year as we did get a handful number of leads through the launch and it was quite a success for us in terms of our final goals. But we did learn a lot of things about the algorithm.

I would suggest if you are planning on launching your product, kindly make sure that the people who are gonna support you are already active on Product Hunt and have some activity points too as it can help a lot having old supporters to upvote your product instead of having all new accounts upvoting your product.

And plus you can use social media r platforms to ask for support as product hunt allows you to ask for support on other platforms unless you are not directly asking people to upvote.

Good luck with the launch and do let me know I would be happy to support :)

@muhammadhariskhan Thank you for your support, your story and advice. This is very important to us and I appreciate that you are ready to help! You can see to see some details here now - https://www.producthunt.com/upco...

@muhammadhariskhan By the way, about new accounts and social networks. What if a person wants to learn about us and possibly support us, but he was not registered on the producthunt?

@sergeipetrov So I was just saying that you have two type of support groups for your product hunt launch.

1) The people who are already using product hunt and are not marked as new accounts with a balloon badge next to their name. When these kind of people support you by upvoting and commenting the algorithm gives your product more ranking and weightage globally.

2) The second group of people is that who are not yet on product hunt but are gonna sign up on product hunt and support by upvoting and commenting and would be marked as new accounts with a balloon badge next to their name. When these kind of people support you, their votes and comments are still registered but the overall ranking and weightage is effected comparatively less but still something is better than nothing.

So what happened with us we were second in terms of number of votes and etc. But overall we were marked 4th product of the day. And when we analyzed the situation it was that the product which made it to the first had more upvotes and comments from mature and active product hunt users while our product had more upvotes and comments from new users.

@muhammadhariskhan Thanks for the detailed answer. As I understand it, people here have a weight expressed in points. The more points, the more impact a person makes by leaving a comment or an upvote. They say that even the intensity of attention to the product matters. That is, 10 upvotes during the day have less weight than the same 10 made in an hour. Although in fact, it is important for us to check how attractive and useful our product is for people. The number of upvotes and the place of popularity is just a nice bonus. At the same time, the more popularity, the more people will see us and we will get more feedback. Ahh, everything is complicated and interconnected😂 And how is your project doing now, after the launch on producthunt? By the way, how long ago did you start?
