在今年第二季度财报会议上，AMD首席执行官苏姿丰博士确认，Ryzen 7000系列桌面处理器将会在第三季度内发布，进一步缩小了新品发布的时间区间，也就是说在未来两个月内。
据Wccftech报道，AMD可能选择在美国东部时间2022年8月29日晚上8点（北京时间为8月30日早上8点）发布Ryzen 7000系列桌面处理器，进一步公布具体的规格和价格，同时主板厂商也会放出X670系列主板的初步价格。相关产品的评测解禁是在美国东部时间2022年9月13日上午9点（北京时间为9月13日晚上9点），随后在美国东部时间2022年9月15日上午9点（北京时间为9月15日晚上9点）将正式上市销售。
首批Ryzen 7000系列桌面处理器会有四款，分别是Ryzen 9 7950X、Ryzen 9 7900X、Ryzen 7 7700X和Ryzen 5 7600X，分别对应16核32线程、12核24线程、8核16线程和6核12线程。这样的首发布局与Ryzen 5000系列最初的时候类似，AMD在新平台初期应该专注于高端领域。
