7月27日晚，华为举行HarmonyOS 3及华为全场景新品发布会，在介绍HarmonyOS 3前，官方首先公布了HarmonyOS 2用户升级数据。
据介绍，一年前，华为启动了HarmonyOS 2在百款华为机型上的升级， HarmonyOS 2达成升级百天破亿的战绩，版本升级率高达77%， 是史上发展最快的智能终端操作系统。
华为常务董事、终端BG CEO 余承东表示，
截止7月，搭载HarmonyOS 2的华为设备已经超过了3亿台，
同时，鸿蒙生态也在飞速发展，鸿蒙智联产品发货量超过1.7亿。
据悉，HarmonyOS 2系统大量使用了分布式技术，支持多机位模式，多设备组合摄影，手机、平板、手表甚至无人机都可以互联互通。
