Integration Developer’s Corner

14 61 24,236

Want to know about the latest and greatest product updates and features enhancements of SAP Cloud Integration? Then, our developer’s corner is your one stop shop!

Here, you will learn everything about the new features in SAP Cloud Integration, focusing on usage with all the 5 W’s & 1 H answered – why do we need this feature, when and where should this be used, what problem is it solving, who can use this and how should this be used with common mistakes to be avoided. All this and more, described with real-life examples by our product team and developers who built it.

Also newly introduced to our Developer’s corner is a series of blogs from our Customer Success Team who work closely with SAP application teams for building their integration content as well as co-innovate with our customers are partners. Blogs from our customer success team will provide you insights on how complex and real integration use-cases can be achieved with the product.

This is an effort from our side to help our community users to be abreast with the monthly product enhancements and is complementary to our product documentation.

The section will features blogs covering enhancements in various aspects of the product like tooling, runtime, connectivity via the numerous adapters, B2B capabilities etc and will be regularly updated with the blogs on newer capabilities released.

Hi Gayathri

The link for “How to develop your custom adapter” (https://blogs.sap.com/2017/07/27/sap-cloud-integration-adapter-development-using-maven-project-perspective/) is dead.

Noticed also that all the content for the author, Gopalkrishna Kulkarni is no longer around.

Is it possible for you to recover these contents?

Hi Eng,

This blog is pulled back for a temporary time by the author for some capabilities updates. It will be available back shortly. I did not remove the link so that we  do not loose referencing it during this interim time.

Do we have a naming convention of HCI developing?

and where is it?

July 23, 2018 at 1:27 pm

Hi Gayathri Narayana -

I appreciate you pulling these different tips into one place.  It is helpful to see the whole picture.  I do hope you keep adding to the article from time to time.  Thank you.

Hello Gayathri,

Thanks for your blog. I don't see any RFC sender adapter. It is posible to implement an escenario RFC (From an ECC)->HCI->SOAP ?

If is not,  what  workaround do you suggest?

Thanks,
Regards,
Leonel.

Hi Leonel,

Currently we do not have a RFC sender adapter. One workaround is to pull data from ECC by polling at regular intervals.  You can have an integration flow with Timer step --> Content Modifier(for the RFC function input) -> Request Reply -> RFC receiver adapter .The Request Reply step can then be connected to the required next steps that are to be run on the response obtained from RFC adapter. Hope this will work for you.

thanks,

Gayathri

Hi Gayathri Narayana, team,

We noticed there was a reorganization around SAP Blog Communities. In the new structure we cannot find a community for Cloud Platform Integration anymore. Is there any plan to create a new one for this? If not, what would be the community we should follow to get new CPI content?

Until last week, that was the link we were using

https://www.sap.com/community/topic/cloud-integration.html

Thank you,

Antonio Anguita
