Meet Windows 11, a new effort to discover the OS

New videos help users discover Windows 11

Microsoft has started a new program that would help users discover Windows 11, all using videos that describe the essential features of the operating system to the smallest detail.

Called Meet Windows 11, the new effort comes down to videos created by Microsoft engineers and presenting some of the essential Windows 11 features, including the desktop, the search capabilities, and widgets.

Furthermore, Microsoft says Meet Windows 11 videos will also highlight browser capabilities powered by Microsoft Edge, including collections (a feature that’s bundled with the application and already available on Windows 11).

“If you’re just starting out with Windows 11 – or looking for refreshers on making the most out of it – there’s a new video series that will help you with staying organized, keyboard shortcuts, personalizing your experience, apps and tools,” Microsoft says.

“Meet Windows 11” recently debuted with three short videos that will get you up and running on Windows 11. The first one goes over basics such as universal search, desktop groups and Microsoft accounts. The second video helps you personalize your Windows experience by suggesting several features, such as creating collections for websites you browse, choosing desktop backgrounds and using widgets. The third video explores new and refreshed apps, such as the Photos app, Microsoft Store and Phone Link.”

New Windows 11 feature update coming

Windows 11 has already reached the global availability stage, which means that all eligible devices can download and install the new operating system.

Furthermore, Microsoft is already giving the finishing touches to the very next Windows 11 feature update, which according to people familiar with the matter should go live at some point in the coming months. The RTM build has already been selected, so now Microsoft is now fixing the last bugs before beginning the public rollout to production devices.
