Recap of our SAP Community Call – Delivering on the Promise of the Intelligent, Sustainable Enterprise – Powered by SAP BTP
First of all, thank you for your numerous participation on our SAP Community Call with Steffen Pietsch and Phil Loewen.
With this blog post I want to take the chance to run a short recap and for those, who haven’t had the chance to follow us during the live stream I recommend to watch the recording on Youtube.
In the session the two have brought together both – the business and technological challenges of our customers in an interesting way, when it comes to realizing the intelligent enterprise and tackling the cloud transformation journey.
What Phil outlined, was the “people” side of the story and that SAP needs to acknowledge that many of customers or prospects still at the beginning of their cloud journey, therefore seeking for the business benefit proof points, before they start to challenge SAP with their technological requirements.
With SAP’s Intelligent, Sustainable Enterprise strategy and the SAP Business Technology Platform as the underlying foundation and platform for customers and partners, Steffen went into the details and provided various examples, how business demands get translated into technological requirements.
In addition to the recent achievements and highlights of our engineering efforts, the presenters also provided insights into the SAP Intelligent Enterprise roadmap, which you can easily explore by yourself visiting the SAP Roadmap Explorer using the various filter options like suite qualities or business processes.
