IT之家 7 月 12 日消息，今日，除 iOS 16 与 iPadOS 16 公测版 Beta 外，苹果还向 HomePod mini 用户发布了 HomePod 16 首个公测版软件更新。
IT之家了解到，安装了 iOS 16 或 iPadOS 16 更新的 HomePod 用户，可以将 HomePod mini 注册到苹果 Beta 版软件计划中。
需要注意的是，HomePod 软件 16 公测版仅适用于 HomePod mini，无法在 HomePod 上下载。目前，HomePod 16 软件更新的具体内容尚不清楚。
在设备注册苹果 Beta 版软件计划后，用户将从“家庭” App 软件更新中自动接收 Public Beta 版的新版本。由于 Apple TV 和 HomePod mini 数据和购买项目均储存在云端，因此无需备份 Apple TV 或 HomePod mini。
