Percona Distribution for MongoDB 4.2.21

Percona Distribution for MongoDB 4.2.21 was released on June 30, 2022. It is a collection of solutions to run and operate your MongoDB efficiently with the data being consistently backed up. Release highlights include:

• The following improvements to the data-at-rest encryption using the Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) (tech preview feature):
  • the support of multiple KMIP servers as the failover to your setup
  • the ability to set KMIP client certificate passwords through a flag to simplify the migration from MongoDB Enterprise to Percona Server for MongoDB
• Added support for Ubuntu 22.04 for Percona Server for MongoDB and Percona Backup for MongoDB.

Percona Server for MongoDB 4.2.21-21

On June 29, 2022, we released Percona Server for MongoDB 4.2.21-21, an enhanced, source-available, and highly-scalable database that is a fully-compatible, drop-in replacement for MongoDB 4.2.21 Community Edition. It supports MongoDB 4.2.21 protocols and drivers. Release highlights include support of multiple KMIP servers and allowing users to set KMIP client certificate passwords through a flag to simplify the migration from MongoDB Enterprise to Percona Server for MongoDB.

Percona Operator for MySQL 0.2.0

Percona Operator for MySQL 0.2.0 was released on June 30, 2022. Version 0.2.0 of the Percona Operator for MySQL is a tech preview release and it is not recommended for production environments. As of today, we recommend using Percona Operator for MySQL based on Percona XtraDB Cluster, which is production-ready and contains everything you need to quickly and consistently deploy and scale MySQL clusters in a Kubernetes-based environment, on-premises or in the cloud.
