苹果有史以来最大的新品境遇越发的尴尬，为何迟迟不肯量产推到消费者面前，还是有一些问题存在的。
根据The Information报道称，苹果 CEO 蒂姆?库克 (Tim Cook)“几乎”不会光临Project Titan团队位于加州圣克拉拉的办公室，一直“不愿意投入资源量产汽车”，这让苹果其他高管失望。
今年早些时候，以每小时约24公里速度行驶的一辆苹果测试用自动驾驶汽车，撞向一名慢跑者。
The Information 刊文称，苹果自动驾驶汽车的软件最初判断这名慢跑者是“固定目标”，而后将其认定为一名“站着不动”的人，最后才将他识别为“正在跑步的慢跑者”。
