Xbox Game Pass Gets a Dozen New Games in July, Including Three Yakuza Titles

Most of the games are playable on PC, console and cloud

Despite the month of July not being as rich as the previous months of the year in terms of new game releases, Xbox Game Pass members are in for a treat. Microsoft has just revealed a dozen new titles that will join the service in July, but more are likely to be added in the coming weeks.

For now, let’s just see what’s in store for Xbox Game Pass members who either play on PC or console. Of course, many of the games added in July will be available to play via cloud too. Another important aspect of the announcement is that all games revealed will be joining Xbox Game Pass in the first part of the month, so there’s a high chance that another batch of games will be added to the service in the second part of July.

That said, here is what you get to play today if you’re paying for Xbox Game Pass: Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and Last Call BBS. All three Yakuza games are available to play on PC, Xbox and cloud, while call is only available on PC.

Three new games will be joining Xbox Game Pass on July 7: DJMax Respect V, Matchpoint: Tennis Championship, and Road 96. All three are playable on PC, Xbox and console, so take your pick if you have more options.

The last batch of five games coming to Xbox Game Pass are scheduled to arrive on July 14: Escape Academy, My Friend Peppa Pig, Overwhelm, PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls, PowerWash Simulator. Overwhelm is the only one that will be available solely on PC, while Escape Academy will be playable on PC and console. The other three games will be available on PC, console, and cloud.

Keep in mind that some games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on July 15, so you still have time to finish them before that happens: Atomicrops, Carrion, Children of Morta, Cris Tales, and Lethal League Blaze.
