McConnell: Blocking Obama's SCOTUS pick led to overturning Roe v. Wade
Antonin Scalia passed away February 13, 2016.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away September 18, 2020.
Mitch deemed one of these vacancies was too close to an election and the people should get to vote for who got to fill the position. The other was filled almost immediately. Guess which was which.
It’s not about principles, it’s not about the Constitution, it’s about power.
