“与中国文学打交道是一辈子的事”
“与中国文学打交道是一辈子的事。”德国知名汉学家吴漠汀（德文名马丁·韦斯勒，Martin Woesler）说，“新的文学作品不断涌现，我想尽可能地多去阅读，把有趣的作品译介给德国读者。”
吴漠汀是欧洲科学院院士、欧盟让·莫内讲席教授，他不仅是中国古典小说《红楼梦》首部完整德文译本的主要译者之一，还曾翻译鲁迅、巴金、韩少功等中国现当代作家的大量作品。吴漠汀目前任中国湖南师范大学“潇湘学者”特聘教授、国际汉学中心主任。
因在翻译中国文学作品、促进中国文化传播方面作出的卓越贡献，吴漠汀荣获2020年度中国政府友谊奖。 “这对我既是极大的荣誉，也是巨大的激励。我们看到，在中国有大量国外知名文学作品被译成中文。但在德国，只有相对较少的中国作品被译成德文。”
为此，吴漠汀召集一批汉学家成立了翻译工作坊。 “我们的工作就是促进中国文化的传播，促进世界的沟通和相互理解。”（来源）
