刚裁员1000人，Coinbase重启海外扩张计划
新浪科技讯 北京时间6月30日早间消息，据报道，加密货币交易平台Coinbase重启全球扩张计划，目的是吸引新用户，提高营收。不久前，该公司刚裁员1000多人。
Coinbase将扩张目标指向欧洲，它正在意大利、西班牙、法国、荷兰推进注册工作。Coinbase已经在英国、爱尔兰、德国注册。
据Coinbase高管透露，未来Coinbase会对收购保持开放态度，这样能加速海外扩张速度。目前加密货币市场的估值已经蒸发2万亿美元，有几家公司破产。
6月份Coinbase在全球裁员18%，被裁员工主要来自美国，欧洲伦敦、都柏林分公司只裁了7%。Coinbase的竞争对手Gemini Trust、BlockFi、Crypto.com本月也曾宣布要裁员。
本周Coinbase股价下跌20%，高盛认为Coinbase下半年营收可能会急剧减少。
2015年时加密货币市场遇冷，当时Coinbase也曾加速向海外扩张，Coinbase的最终目的是希望国际业务在公司总业务中主导。
