曝苹果Apple Watch Series 8手表将独占新的低功耗模式
在 WWDC 2022 之前，彭博社记者 Mark Gurman 根据自己的消息来源报道称，苹果一直在为 watchOS 9 开发新的低功耗模式。然而，watchOS 9 发布时并没有这方面的新功能。
今日，Gurman 带着新的相关报告回来了，他声称低功耗模式将是新 Apple Watch Series 8 独有的。
Gurman 在他最新的 Power On 通讯中透露，他仍然预计今年晚些时候会推出新的低功耗模式。然而，新的低功耗模式预计将作为 Apple Watch Series 8 的新功能之一，而不是 watchOS 9 的一项功能，可能会在今年晚些时候推出。
IT之家了解到，目前的 Apple Watch 已经拥有一项名为“Power Reserve Mode”的功能。但是，此功能会几乎关闭 Apple Watch 的所有功能，只显示时间。虽然这适用于紧急情况，但用户需要重新启动 Apple Watch 才能访问应用和其他功能。
根据 Gurman 的报告，新的低功耗模式将允许用户继续使用 Apple Watch 应用和功能，而不会消耗太多电量。该功能预计类似于 iOS 和 macOS 中已经提供的低功耗模式，会暂停后台活动并降低设备性能以获得更高的续航。
根据此前的传闻，Apple Watch Series 8 将比当前的 Series 7 进行小幅升级。除了与 Apple Watch Series 7 具有相同的内部规格外，预计 Series 8 将保持与 41 毫米和 45 毫米版本相同的当前设计。
消息称苹果还在开发针对极限运动的“坚固版”Apple Watch Series 8。苹果还可能推出 Apple Watch SE，将基于具有更大边框的 Apple Watch Series 6 设计，但使用与 Series 8 相同的处理器。
