虽然有着mini之名，但iPad mini在iPad产品线中的定价并非最便宜，配置也非最入门。
去年发布的iPad mini 6被誉为A15小钢炮，因为优异的性能表现、轻便的机身，甚至成为一些iOS双枪或者安卓/iOS双机用户的推荐之选。
尽管iPad整个产品线的屏幕都在越做越大，iPad Pro甚至正密谋14.1寸，可小体积的iPad mini仍会继续更新。
来自LeaksApplePro的爆料称， iPad mini 7最显著的升级将是一块120Hz刷新率显示屏，毕竟60Hz已经用了6代之久。不过屏幕尺寸依旧是8.3英寸全面屏。
其它参数方面，处理器采用4nm A16，是否依然“青春版”不详，内存提升到6GB或8GB LPDDR5等。
稍稍有些让人沮丧的是，iPad mini 6不会在今年推出，而要等到最快明年春季了。
