stripe 是一个全球知名的金融科技公司，在收单、支付、虚拟信用卡方面全球市场占有率极高。
很多小的金融科技公司的产品其实就是对接了 stripe 的 API 服务。一个好的 API 文档可以大大加速对接方的接入速度，所以 stripe 的 api 文档是相当友好的。
后来 stripe 团队把 API doc 产品命令为 markdoc 直接开源，供业界免费使用。

markdoc 基于 markdown 的语法，并做了一些自定义的扩展来满足客户阅读文档的需要。
