Since release 2202 of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, the ability to specify subitems in a bill of material is available. In addition, the ODATA API Bills of Material is enabled to maintain subitems. We can use the API to migrate the subitems into the client system, but we are wondering if the possibility to upload subitems with the BOM template in the Migration Cockpit will also be available soon.
