General CVEB - June | GALAXY S21 Ultra 5G | Official Firmware (SM-G998B) | 30th May

Got CVF2 last night 231mb, nothing mentioned in the changelog.

Did you get the 1st June update?

Did you get the 1st June update?

This is 2nd update in June. 1st was CVF1

Did you get the 1st June update?

It is for US as I can see

No looks like Korea to me. G998N is Korean model. Explains why no other Regions got the June update, we should see 2nd update early next week and then the rest of Europe will get the update too.

Ok so we already got a June update and it had like 800mb or something, and now we get another one
But why? As I can see it will be like 200mb so what can be new or fixed

It'll be smaller for DBT, but for others that didn't get the 1st June update it will be a bigger update.

I don't understand why Samsung doesn't release the update to other regions and why is that DBT gets the release so early? I can imagine a day or 2 gap but 10 days is ridiculous. Or, are they using DBT as guinea pigs?

We are usually the guinea pigs 😂 a few times they've halted an update and DBT is stuck on it for a while. Almost 2 weeks since that June update.

1'st - there are many reasons behind it
2'nd - those patches barely change everything, why are you so anxious about them? Does it really change anything if you got update on 1'st or 20'th if the month where there is no "real" benefit from it?

Well.. Those patch updates used to improve the battery and the camera slightly in the past..but not anymore

Even that, week or two later make not much difference for 95% of users and the rest who really need them got a knowledge how to use odin etc.

My S21U just went black screen. Charger was plugged in. I can pickup calls that means touch is working. I have tried the forced restart. The phone vibrates(when Samsung logo appears) but can't see anything on the screen.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix it?

Can it boot into download mode?

Some just like to have their devices updated at the same time and being almost two weeks is still long when some have got their 2nd update this month.

My question is, and?
Those updates means nearly nothing to us regarding day to day usage. Moreower if you compare Samsung with his flagsips to any other major vendors in android market, you will see that they are better than competitors.
Of course, in perfect wourld we should get updates with the rest but due to CSC, carrier specific changes/approvals it vary.

Everyone here is complaining about samsung, however it looks like people have no clue many carriers must sign off update before they release it, and this process take time.

Your display might be dead. It happened to me last year. I had to send it to Samsung and they repaired it for free.
